Crochet Jasmine Stitch

Jasmine stitch it’s made with: chain stitch and treble crochet. It looks great on silk thread, macrame, rustic cotton and wool. It is widely used in accessories for women.

Realization:

Work a chain base of odd stitches

1°r: 4 ch to replace 1° t.r. 3 d.c. closed together stung on 7° ch *3 ch, 2 incomplete d.c. stung on last end of group of 3 d.c. closed together. 3 incomplete d.c. stung on ch where you stung 1° group of 3 d.c. closed together. Skip 3 ch, 3 incomplete d.c. stung on next ch. Make a loop and close 3 groups at the same time* rep. from * to * across all the r. Before close the r., don’t last group. I mean, you will two 1° group and then, you will close both it with a loop. Then, skip 2 ch and 1 t.r. stung on next ch.

2°r: 4 ch to replace 1° t.r., 3 ch, 2 incomplete d.c. stung on 4° ch previously crocheted, 3 incomplete d.c. stung in the middle of groups (circle) of previous r. *3 incomplete d.c. stung on next circle. Make a loop and close 3 groups at the same time. 3 ch, 2 incomplete d.c. stung in the middle of 3 previous groups (circle), 3 incomplete d.c. stung on same circle of previous group* rep. from * to * across all the r. Before finish the r., only 1° group and 1 t.r. stung on 1° ch that replace t.r. of previous r.

3°r: 4 ch to replace 1 t.r. on next circle 3 d.c. closed together. 3 ch, 2 incomplete d.c. stung on circle of previous 3 d.c. closed together *3 incomplete d.c. stung on same circle, 3 incomplete d.c. stung on next circle. Make a loop and close 3 groups at the same time, 3 ch, 2 incomplete d.c. stung on circle of 3 previous groups* rep. from * to * across all the r. Before finish the r., don’t last groups. I mean, you will two 1° group and lose both with a loop. Then, 1 t.r. stung on 4° ch that replace t.r. of previous r.

Work always even r. as 2°r and odd r. as 3°r.
