Crochet Picot No. 40

It is crocheted in a single color but can be crocheted with two or more colors. It’s made with: chain stitch, simple crochet, double crochet, treble crochet and picot stitch. This looks great on thin thickness thread. It is used especially in edges and ends of tablecloths.

Realization:

Work a chain base of even stitches

1° r: skip 4 ch and 1 d.c. stung on each ch.

2° r: 9 ch *2 d.c. closed together stung on 4° ch previously worked. Skip 3 d.c. and 1 t.r. stung on next d.c, 4 ch* rep. from * to * across all the r. and finish it with 1 t.r. stung on 3° ch counting from the bottom

3° r: 2 ch, 1 s.c. stung on next t.r. *4 ch, 1 t.r. stung on next t.r., 4 ch, 1 t.r. stung on same place where you worked previous t.r., 1 t.r. stung on next t.r. Turn the work and 4 ch, 1 t.r. stung on 1° tr worked, 4 ch, 1 picot stitch. Turn the work and 4 ch, 1 t.r. stung on 2° t.r. worked, 4 ch, 1 t.r. stung on same place where you worked previous t.r., 1 t.r. stung on where you worked 3° t.r., 4 ch, 1 s.c. stung on next t.r. from 2° r.* rep from * to * across all the r and finish it with 1 s.c. stung on 4° ch counting from the bottom.
