How to make Round Square Mesh Stitch Crochet

In the graphic, photo and video are displayed how to work Round Square Mesh Stitch, closing the row with a Slip stitch stung in the 3° chain stitch of the row (from the bottom) so that in this way remains in round form.

This technique is widely used for weaving carpets, hats and famous circular vests. It also serves to weave any design having round shape.

It is crocheted with chain stitches and double crochet closed each row with slip stitches.

You begin to work as follows:

Work 4 ch and close it with 1 s.t stung on 1° ch

1° r: inside the ring 3ch (to replace 1° d.c). 1 ch. *1 d.c, 1 ch* Rep from * to * 6 times. Close the r. with 1 s.t. stung on 3° ch (counting from the bottom)

2° r: 4 ch, 1 d.c. stung on 1° d.c from previous r. *1 ch, 2 d.c. separated by 1 ch and stung on next st.* rep from * to * across all the r. 1 ch. Close the r. with 1 s.t. stung on 3° ch (counting from the bottom)

3° r: 4 ch *2 d.c. separated by 1 ch and stung on next d.c from previous r., 1 ch, 1 d.c stung on next ch., 1 ch* rep from * to * across al the r. Finish it crocheting 2 d.c. separated by 1 ch. and stung on next d.c from previous r., 1 ch. Close the r. with 1 s.t. stung on 3° ch (counting from the bottom)

4° r: 4 ch *1 d.c stung on next d.c. from previous r., 1 ch, 2 d.c separated by 1 ch. and stung on next d.c., 1 ch, 1 d.c. stung on next ch, 1 ch* rep from * to * across all the r.
